Passenger in vehicle involved in collision with Metrobus killed - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

A passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a collision with a Metrobus in Seat Pleasant has died.

The fatal accident happened around 9:45 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Central Avenue and Soper Lane.

There were about 40 passengers aboard the bus at the time of the accident. Eight of the bus passengers were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The remaining passengers were loaded onto an alternate bus.
