'X Factor' To Air In Its Entirety Tuesday At 8 P.M.

PHILADELPHIA -
If you tried to watch "X Factor" last night, a rained-out baseball game delayed, then interrupted, then totally cut out the show's most important episode this season.
Last night was supposed to be the important reveal of the top 16 contestants and the cliffhanger before "X Factor" goes into hiatus until Nov. 1 for the World Series.
So, FOX's telecast of the baseball game stopped at the bottom of the seventh because of rain, and "X Factor" began around 8:40 p.m.
It all started fine. Britney Spears and L.A. Reid announced their final four team members. Demi Lovato began making her choices, then there was a commercial break and a teaser showing Jillian Jensen sobbing uncontrollably.
But on the show, Jillian had yet to learn her fate.
Then, FOX came back from the break and aired "The Mindy Project" with no explanation.
Then, the network switched back to the baseball game and aired an announcement saying the rest of the "X Factor" would not be shown.
So, the "X Factor" has been tweeting, and last night the show said, "We've been thrown a curveball and the final reveal of judge's homes will air in its entirety Tuesday at 8/7 Central."
Simon Cowell himself also tweeted last night, saying, "Have no idea what is happening to the schedule tonight, have heard the whole episode will be shown next Tuesday. Sorry."
So, remember, the show will air in its entirety on Tuesday.
