Fairfax County Police say a Reston man has been charged for the murder of his sister.
Police say officers were called to a home in the 11300 block of Geddys Court at around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday and found 68-year-old Ruth Allen with an apparent gunshot wound inside the home.
Allen was transported to Reston Hospital Center where she died from her injuries.
59-year-old Charles Hamilton was taken into custody at the home and charged with murder.
