SILVER SPRING, Md. -
Montgomery County Police say a student has been stabbed on a high school campus in Silver Spring.
It happened about 11 a.m. Monday at Northwood High School.
Police say the victim, a 15-year-old male student, was found with a puncture wound to his upper leg. The victim was stabbed with a knife in the school hallway near the cafeteria.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they have arrested 18-year-old Chidat Tarawally, a student at Northwood. He is being charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and applicable weapon on school property charges.
