Komen 3-Day for the Cure volunteers targeted by thieves

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON -

Two volunteers for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure in D.C. were targeted by thieves.

Ken and Kristian Kauker are known as the "Tutu Brothers." They say the bicycles that they ride while cheering on walkers were stolen from the parking lot outside the Holiday Inn Express in Hyattsville Thursday night.

Once word got out on social media, the owner of the District Hardware and Bike Shop in Northwest offered rental bikes free of charge.

FOX 5's Lauren DeMarco has the story.
