Metro to delay track work until after Nationals game - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Metro will hold off on starting weekend track work until the Nationals game lets out and the fans get home.

Work was set to begin at 10:00 p.m. Friday.

But that will be delayed until the system clears out.

There will be single tracking on parts of the red and green lines.

If there is a game on Sunday, Metro will end work early to ensure there are no delays for fans getting to the game.
