Attorney Looking Into Over Serving, Overcrowding At Bar Of Wedding Brawl

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

The attorney who is representing the man who died during a weekend wedding brawl in Philadelphia tells Fox 29 he is looking into possible over serving and overcrowding at the bar where the brawl occurred.

Attorney Ken Rothweiler appeared on Good Day Friday morning to discuss the case.

Rothweiler, who represents the uncle who died of a heart attack during brawl, says more facts are coming out about what happened at the hotel in the city's Society Hill neighborhood.

According to Rothweiler, it appears one wedding party was fighting amongst themselves and his client got caught up in the middle of it.

The family, according to Rothweiler, was attempting to get out of the way of the fight when the uncle suffered a heart attack.

Rothweiler says he's looking into what went on at the hotel, the possible overcrowding and the lack of security.

The funeral for the uncle who passed away is being held Friday.

The wedding brawl, captured on video by a teenager who happened to be staying at the hotel that night, has made international headlines.

Philadelphia Police are still investigating the incident and have said they expect to identify more of the people involved.

You can watch Rothweiler's interview on Good Day in the video above.
