WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. -- A 20-year-old West Bloomfield man is accused of stabbing his 19-year-old brother in the chest Thursday morning.

The victim ran for help.  Police said his brother barricaded himself in the home.

"We responded and setup a perimeter.  The victim was taken to (McLaren Oakland Hospital) where he's being treated, and after several conversations with the suspect, he decided to come out peacefully and surrender.  He was taken into custody without incident," said West Bloomfield Police Lieutenant Tim Diamond.

The suspect will likely be arraigned on Friday.
