"For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When the Rainbow was Enuf" makes its way to the Detroit stage October 14. It tells the story of the journey, encouragement, and empowerment of seven women who question their sexual relationships with men and their own destiny.
The seven women are all portrayed by a color: red, yellow, green, blue, purple, orange, and brown.
Performances are produced and directed by Frankie Darcell, who joined us live in studio along with Shawn Williams, the play's promoter.
Performances are at 3PM and 8PM at Wayne State Community Arts Auditorium.
