SOUTHGATE, Mich. -
Several African-American workers at a Michigan nursing home say they were suspended after a woman living there claimed she was raped by a black man.
The Southgate Manor's manager refused to say why every black man working there was suspended.
The owner, Reginald Hartsfield, is a black man himself and told a local TV news station that the same approach would have been taken if the suspect was a white male or woman.
The owner says once an employee is ruled out as a suspect they will be brought back to work.
