She's only 9 years old, and she already knows what it means to give back.
"There's one thing I learned in school, a kid dies from hunger every 10 seconds," said Jenna Brodnyan.
So Jenna Brodnyan is on a mission to collect food for those who can't afford it.
"I need to feed more people, I need to do it over and over again."
Jenna asked her local food bank for a list of the most needed items. Then, she stood outside a nearby supermarket for an entire weekend asking for donations.
It paid off because on Monday she packed up and delivered nearly 1,000 goods to the Incarnation Church in Mantua. The church helps people all over Gloucester County.
"I collected a lot of peanut butter, jelly, popular are the canned goods."
And she wants to do more.
"I love helping families. When see people on street with signs 'will work for food,' I want go out there and give them all my money."
"We are incredibly proud, she's got a very good heart and she puts it to good use," said Jenna's mom Cyndi Brodnyan.
She even won the Mantua Township citizens award for her efforts.
"Just watch her in the store not let anyone get by. Look what she did. It's awesome," said her dad, Charles Brodnyan.
"This is amazing. She can set her mind to this and not stop doing it,"said Jenna's big brother, Jason.
This is the second year Jenna has done this, and she hopes to collect even more food next year.
