Man Shot, Robbed At North Philly Subway Platform

Police are looking for a suspect that shot and robbed a man this evening in North Philadelphia after the victim got off the train.

Police say the victim was leaving a southbound Broad Street Line train when he was approached by a suspect, who announced the robbery. The victim fled before being shot in the back. The suspect then robbed the victim while he was laying on the ground and fled.

The suspect was said to be about six feet tall, about 240 pounds and was wearing an Atlanta Falcons cap, blue jeans, and a dark colored jacket.

The 53 year old victim was transported to Temple University Hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition. The injury is not life-threatening.
