WASHINGTON -
It was a huge day for sports fans in the nation's capital on Sunday. Afternoon games for both the Washington Redskins and the Washington Nationals. Who do you watch?
The Nationals are in the playoffs for the first time in 79 years and the whole town's excited. But Washington has a Redskins habit, and today's game was a big one, up against the undefeated Atlanta Falcons.
At the Crystal City Sports Pub, FOX 5 encountered the expected Skins and Nats fans, but also some fans of a new breed, they support both teams and wore jerseys and baseball caps from each, at the same time.
To quote one of those fans, Matthew Bower, Washington is a "Skins town, dying for meaningful baseball."
The sports bar was the solution for many fans on how to see both games at the same time. For those at home, one fan, Matt Sutton, suggested a remote control and switching channels as quickly as you possibly can, so you don't miss anything.
