A two-month investigation wrapped up Thursday after police discovered tools and the key ingredients for a meth lab inside a Frederica, Delaware home.
According to troopers, a search warrant was executed Thursday morning at home on the 200 block of South Market Street.
Two brothers were taken into custody without incident, but police say their search of the home led them to component mixtures and key ingredients used to make meth.
The area around the home was closed for two hours as police worked to remove the ingredients and equipment.
Police say 35-year-old George Shahan faces drug and conspiracy charges. His brother, 34-year-old Kenneth Shahan faces a conspiracy charge.
We're getting rain well ahead of our cold front. Expect to need that umbrella on and off all day and tonight, too. A bit messy, unfortunately, for First Friday activities.
With the blast of cold air that follows, we'll probably have a dry day on Saturday, and the chance of a Sunday wintry mix into the afternoon and evening. A light coating could occur for some before a changeover to rain. Stay tuned!
