Early Friday morning, the Willow Grove Park Mall parking lot began to fill up with men, women and children dressed in various shades of pink and wearing their best walking shoes.
They were enthusiastic, jovial and ready to travel 60- miles throughout the Philadelphia area - for three days!
You see, these wonderful people all gathered together to begin this year's Susan G. Komen Philadelphia 3-Day. The event raises funds and awareness for breast cancer.
Their journey will conclude on Sunday at The Navy Yard for closing ceremonies.
There will be Cheering Stations throughout the city, so why not get out there and support these walkers.
