Early Friday morning, the Willow Grove Park Mall parking lot began to fill up with men, women and children dressed in various shades of pink and wearing their best walking shoes.

They were enthusiastic, jovial and ready to travel 60- miles throughout the Philadelphia area - for three days!

You see, these wonderful people all gathered together to begin this year's Susan G. Komen Philadelphia 3-Day.  The event raises funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Their journey will conclude on Sunday at The Navy Yard for closing ceremonies.

There will be Cheering Stations throughout the city, so why not get out there and support these walkers.

Fox 29's Karen Hepp was out at the event Friday morning - take a look at the fabulous people she met.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
