It's October, and that means it's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On Friday, thousands of women are headed to the Willow Grove Park Mall to start out on an amazing three-day walk.
Participants were gathering early Friday morning for the start of the Susan G. Komen 3-day, which is a 60-mile walk. It raises money for breast cancer research and ends at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Just this one local event is expected to raise $4 million.
