Public Safety Hearing Discusses ATV Bill In Philly

Philadelphia City hall is now getting involved in dangerous and illegal all-terrain-vehicles in city neighborhoods.

Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds-Brown hosted a hearing Wednesday on ATVs before the council's Committee on Public Safety.

The committee is considering a bill that would ban ATV riders from riding them on public sidewalks, parks and recreation centers.

Police have also cracked down on the vehicles-- with several seizures-- in the past couple months.
