SILVER SPRING, Md. -
Two teenagers on their way to school were struck by a vehicle in Montgomery County Wednesday morning.
The teens were walking along the 1600 block of East Randolph Road near the Pilgrim Hill Recreation Center at around 6:30 a.m. when they were struck.
The two teens were hospitalized. There is no word at this time on the extent of their injuries.
The driver of the car was briefly trapped. He was removed and also hospitalized.
