RIVERDALE, Md. -

Police have a warning to a select group of Maryland business owners: beware of armed thieves targeting liquor stores.

The crimes are happening during your morning commute when kids are on their way to school.

So far, the armed gunmen have robbed three stores - some in busy strip malls.

There is surveillance video of the two suspects committing their most recent crime, a robbery Tuesday morning on September 25. Their target: the East Pines liquor store on Riverdale Road in Riverdale.

In the video, you can see the men pretty clearly, wearing dark clothing and ball caps, as they confront the two store employees working that morning. One of robbers would pull out a gun and demand to be let inside the office.

FOX 5 visited the store Tuesday evening. One of the victim's told us that he told the robbers he didn't have a key to the office. So, he says, they bound him and his co-worker's wrists with plastic zip ties and made them get on the floor.

Prince George's County Police say they believe the same two men robbed at least two other liquor stores last month.

One in Suitland at Base Liquors on Allentown Road on September 22 and at David's Liquors on Annapolis Road in Landover on September 4.

Those other two armed robberies were also in the morning, both around 9:20 a.m. In all three crimes, the gunmen were striking just as the businesses were opening.

At East Pines, that robbery victim says despite being threatened with the gun, he and his co-worker were not hurt. He says the two men emptied the cash registers, netting about $125.

Police are now warning other liquor stores to be aware that the men are still out there and their robbery spree not likely to end until they are caught.

Investigators say in one of the robberies, a getaway car was spotted. It was a white SUV with what appeared to be Maryland temporary tags and driven by a woman wearing a white shower cap and white tank top.

Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to call Prince George's County Police Department's Robbery Unit at 301-772-4905. Callers can remain anonymous by calling Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. You may also text "PGPD plus your crime tip" to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to www.pgpolice.org and submit a tip online. Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest and indictment in this case.
