To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Atlanta Falcons gave breast cancer survivors a much needed and well deserved treat on Tuesday.
Five women spent the day getting pampered at a salon and ended the evening with dinner on the river with Falcon players and their wives.
The falcons say they hosted the fourth annual "Dazzle and Dine" event to let the cancer survivors know they are appreciated for their strength and bravery.
The survivors will also be honored during the October 14 game vs. Oakland.
The Atlanta Falcons, state and city officials have agreed on a deal to ensure that at least 31 percent of construction awards for the team's new stadium are awarded to minority or women-owned firms.
