
A community is coming together to raise money to help the family of a boy whose specialized vest was stolen by thieves.
Five-year-old Wyatt Daring has a rare genetic disorder that makes it impossible for him to regulate his body temperature.
Just to go outside, Wyatt must wear a specialized vest. But as we told you last month, Wyatt's vest was stolen right out of his family's van.
After our story, a company that manufactures the vest agreed to donate a new one.
On Tuesday, members of the community got the chance to help Wyatt and his family at the Waltz Golf Farm in Limerick.
The event ran from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
UPDATE: Fox 29 just received word that this fundraiser raised over $8,000!
Organizers say proceeds from miniature golf will go towards helping the Darings.
