Multiple Shootings, Homicides Being Investigated in North Philadelphia

Police are investigating four shooting incidents where three were killed, two injured.

The rampage started just before 4 p.m. on the 1700 block of North Hollywood Street where a 19 year-old man was shot two times in the chest before being pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital. Police are still looking for the shooter.

Just over an hour later, another homicide was reported after a 51 year-old man was shot once in the mouth. He died at the scene at 25th and Ingersoll Streets.

Just after 7 p.m. there was a double shooting at an auto body shop at 23rd and Stewart Streets. A 25 year-old man was shot in the back and died at Temple University Hospital. A second victim was shot in the hand was is in stable condition. He is being held as a prisoner in the investigation.

Lastly, a 27 year-old man was shot multiple times at Front and Westmoreland Streets. He is critical at Temple University Hospital. No arrests have been made in the case
