2 Injured In I-95 Crash That Involved School Buses, Tractor Trailer

NEWARK, Del. -

Four lanes of I-95 southbound at Churchmans Marsh have been reopened after an accident halted traffic Monday morning in Delaware.

Delaware State Police say the accident, which involved two school buses, a tractor trailer and a passenger car, happened around 8:40 a.m.

State police say the school buses were not carrying any students at the time of the crash.

According to troopers, two people were taken to Christiana Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Several lanes were shut down for more than an hour while the crash was investigated.

    It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

    The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

    By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
