The Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool at the National Mall is still covered in algae.

The reflecting pool reopened a few weeks ago after a 34 million dollar overhaul.

The National Park Service says it has made adjustments to the filtration system and there is no new algae forming.

They are planning to remove the dead algae.
