WASHINGTON, DC -
D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier is warning drunk drivers her officers will be looking for impaired drivers.
And those officers will be armed with new breathalyzer technology.
The breathalyzer tests were suspended in the District after questions were raised showing they were not working properly.
But now the old machines have new and better software place.
Friday Mayor Gray and Chief Lanier say they have faith in the machines.
The chief made a comment that drivers should know her officers are out there looking for drunk drivers, but she wouldn't say if checkpoints or other certain locations were being targeted.
