EVESHAM TWP., N.J. -

Evesham police are continuing to investigate a smash-and-grab jewelry store robbery that may be tied to other recent heists.

It was Thursday at 7:52 p.m. when police were called to the Jay Roberts Jewelry Store located at 515 South Route 73 in Marlton for an armed robbery in progress.

Two individuals wearing dark clothing and masks to cover their faces entered the jewelry store and quickly used a masonry-style hammer to smash a glass case while the other suspect collected the high-end watches.

Surveillance video footage released Friday shows it was approximately 20 seconds from the time the suspects entered the store until the time they fled.

They ran off south through the parking lot. Police used canines to try and track them but it's believed they left in a getaway vehicle.

The Breitling watches that were taken were worth an estimated $150,000, police said.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reported Friday morning that the heist could be tied to as many as 10 others in the area.

Anyone who has any information regarding the suspects or vehicle is asked to contact the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116, the Confidential Tip Line at 856-983-4699 or email at Facebook@Eveshampd.org. Anonymous tip texts can be sent to ETPDTIP at 847411.
