Anne Arundel County police say a woman tried to kill her estranged husband by hitting him with a pickup truck.
Thirty-nine-year-old Patina Morehead of Shady Side has been charged with attempted second-degree murder.
Police went to a home about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and found the 61-year-old husband, whom police did not identify, in the driveway with serious injuries to his lower body.
Officers tell The Capital of Annapolis that Morehead and her husband were arguing in the driveway when the woman got into her pickup truck. Police say the husband walked toward the truck, and Morehead drove toward her husband, hitting him and pinning him behind the truck and a parked vehicle.
Officials say the husband was flown to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
