Students Assume Roles Of Titanic Passengers At Philly School - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Students in the 3rd and 4th grades took on an unusual classroom project Thursday. They got the chance to see what it was like for passengers aboard the Titanic.

Students at Albert M. Greenfield Elementary School in Philadelphia assumed the roles of passengers who rode the legendary ocean liner while getting a look at recovered artifacts from the ship.

Organizer say the artifacts will be featured in the "Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition," which opens November 10 in the Mandell Center at The Frankiln Institute.

The exhibit is in recognition of the centennial anniversary of the sinking of Titanic.
