Astronomers have pieced together ten years' worth of images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope.
The images provide the deepest view yet of a small sliver of the night sky.
They reveal galaxies and other celestial objects.
The Hubble Extreme Deep Field, or XDF, captured images of another fifty-five-hundred galaxies in the farthest reaches of the universe.
Astronomers say the most distant objects found so far date back to about five-hundred-million years after the universe was formed almost fourteen billion years ago.
