Customers protest proposed Pepco rate hike - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Pepco is asking the District for a $42.5 million rate hike to replace aging equipment, improve reliability and prepare for growth in its customer base.

On Tuesday evening, customers opposed to the increase gathered outside the headquarters of the District's Public Service Commission to protest. 

The PSC will render its rake hike decision on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
