Police: Taxi driver robbed in Montgomery County - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Montgomery County police are searching for a woman accused of robbing a taxi driver at knifepoint.

Police say it happened Thursday evening, when a woman approached a Barwood cab driver in front of a Silver Spring restaurant.

Police say the passenger asked to be driven to a nearby bank, then displayed a knife and demanded the driver's money and credit cards.

The woman is also accused of withdrawing cash while using the driver's ATM card and bank card PIN.
