MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (KMSP) -

A metro woman is under investigation after she was accused of stealing from the company where she kept the books.

According to a search warrant application filed in Hennepin County District Court, Lori Jo Mueller is suspected of stealing close to $1 million from Edelweiss Home Health Care, Inc., of Maple Grove.

Police believe Mueller used the money to pay off credit cards and an Amazon account.

According to court records, Mueller is also known as "Lori Jo Peterson". She was convicted of stealing more than $60,000 from a Burnsville company in 1997.

When FOX 9 showed up at Mueller's house to ask her about the recent allegations, a man who answered the door didn't want to comment.

Mueller has not been arrested or charged in the most recent case involving Edelweiss Home Health Care.
