Candidate Bio: Bobby Rush - 1st District

Bobby Lee Rush is the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 1st congressional district, serving since 1993. The district is located principally on the South Side of Chicago.

He is a member of the Democratic Party.

Rush is running against Republican Don Peloquin and John Hawkins, to retain his seat in Congress.
