Meet your best friend at the Detroit Zoo Sept. 22-23

Looking for a cute, four-legged companion? Why not stop by the Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo adoption event this weekend (Sept. 22-23) at the Detroit Zoo.
Representatives from the Michigan Humane Society, along with 30 additional animal welfare organizations, will be on hand from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on each day.
Nearly 1,000 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens will be available for adoption.
To avoid a puppy rush, the first 25 adopters specifically looking for a puppy will receive a "puppy pass" to enter the event at 9:45 a.m. each day.
