An all-day party is planned on H Street in northeast Washington.
Organizers say food, fashion shows, street parades and music will all be part of Saturday's "H Street Festival." The party begins at noon and lasts until 7 p.m. Organizers say a similar event last year drew a crowd of 50,000.
During the festival D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray will help unveil the latest official walking tour in the city. The Greater H Street NE Heritage Trail runs through the area.
