Hot Topic: Anti-American protests

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

The recent attacks on the US embassies in Egypt and Yemen, as well as the death of four US citizens in Libya, including the US ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, has led to a crisis in the Middle East.

Here in the US, GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney slammed President Barack Obama for his handling of the situation.

The current administration has ordered security tightened at US embassies abroad, and has urged foreign governments to do there part to help.

Now there are reports that the attacks in Libya may have been part of a twin operation, that's according to the Associated Press.

The attackers were apparently protesting an anti-Islam film that was released in the US.

What do you think? How should the United States respond to the current Middle East situation? Post your responses on our FOX 5 Atlanta Facebook page, tweet us @GoodDayAtlanta, or email us at goodday@myfoxatlanta.com!  We'll read some of your responses during the 9 am hour of Good Day Atlanta.
