
It's time to Get Up and Go, and the destination is a budget-friendly family event. It's the Third Annual Honeybee Festival at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will feature bee games, crafts, honey samples, cooking demonstrations and a children's honeybee costume contest. A parade of the participants will begin at 2 p.m., followed by judging.
For those living in Gwinnett County, admission is $7.50 for adults, $5.50 for students with ID, $5.50 for seniors over 55, $3.50 for ages 3-12 and free for children under 3.
