WASHINGTON -
If you've driven through D.C. recently, you may have noticed all of the public art that is popping up across the city.
Did you know D.C. is home to more than 40 murals? In fact, a new one was unveiled outside one of D.C.'s most well-known gathering spots, Ben's Chili Bowl.
The faces of Bill Cosby, President Barack Obama, Chuck Brown and Donnie Simpson were painted on the side alley wall of Ben's Chili Bowl. Mayor Vincent Gray was there to help unveil the mural.
City officials say the mural are not only providing beautiful outside art, they are also helping to cut down on the cities graffiti issue. Officials say once the mural is painted on the walls, it is rare that they are vandalized.
