Young child drowns in Olney pool - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

A 2-year-old boy has died in what Montgomery County police are calling an accidental drowning.

The child was found inside an Olney pool around 11:45 a.m. Monday. CPR was performed on the 34-month-old boy, but he did not survive after being rushed to the hospital.

Police say the child was at his own home and was being cared for by a nanny.

Police are investigating the drowning and charges may be pending.
