Coast Guard searches for missing boater in Md. - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Authorities are searching for a 27-year-old boater who went missing about two miles away from Bayside Beach in Maryland.

The U.S. Coast Guard says a crewmember on a sailing vessel contacted them about 12:30 p.m. Monday and reported that a male and a female had fallen overboard. The female was found, but the crew lost sight of the man.

The Coast Guard has launched a 45-foot response boat. The Maryland Natural Resources Police and Anne Arundel County police department are also assisting with the search.
