Ryan Stanley - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Ryan Stanley is a sophomore student at American University and a member of the School of Communication. He is a broadcast journalism major and plans to work in television news upon his graduation.

Ryan is originally from Cape Cod, MA and made the move to Washington, D.C. to study his dream and passion: broadcast journalism. As a result, he is a political junkie who loves to study and analyze politics.

Ryan used to work behind the scenes and was forced to host a TV show in high school due to an anchor's illness. After five minutes of airtime he was "bitten by the bug" as they say in the industry.

Ryan is also a Tours Director at American University and contributes to The Eagle, a student-run newspaper on AU's campus.
