Surveillance video shows a thief breaking into a San Diego bakery and stealing sticky buns and cinnamon rolls.
Nancy Houlgate, owner of ‘Baked,' says a midnight thief - now dubbed the sticky buns bandit – has broken into the store twice.
"I guess they were so irresistible he had to come back again, because he did the same exact crime- just took a couple bucks and the rest was food- goodies," Houlgate said.
"Watching the guy being all…stealing going behind the case bringing in a sack and taking all the goodies out whatever he didn't take he wrapped it up nice and neatly and I think he got a cup of coffee," she said.
The owner has a forgiving attitude, but that's not stopping her for offering a reward.
For anyone who can identify the bandit - a free cinnamon roll everyday - for the rest of their lives!
"On his way out he even grabbed the dollar out of the tip jar so it was the funniest thing. I think he got about a couple bucks worth of change but a ton of food," she said.
"We're super flattered more than anything. I kinda felt sorry for the guy. You could just come in here and ask and I'll give him one," Houlgate continued.
Patrons of the store can see why the thief stuck this store in particular. "If I were going to steal something this would be pretty much to the top of my list," said one customer.
