
Anne Arundel County fire officials say several people have been injured when boats collided in the Magothy River in the Chesapeake Bay in Pasadena.
The accident was reported about 7 p.m. Wednesday. Two boats were involved in the collision. Four adults and five children were injured, which includes Maryland State Delegate Don Dwyer, who owns one of the boats involved in the collision.
Lt. Keith Hamilton of the Anne Arundel County fire department says those injured include children and patients were being transported to hospitals around the area.
Hamilton says all those rescued are conscious, alert and oriented.
