ELLICOTT CITY, Md. -

Funeral services for two teens killed in a train derailment in Maryland have been scheduled.

Funeral services for Elizabeth Conway Nass, a student at James Madison University in Virginia, were planned for Friday at the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City. Funeral services for Rose Louese Mayr, nursing student at the University of Delaware, were planned for Saturday at Bethany United Methodist Church in Ellicott City.

Both women were 19 years old and graduates of Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, where they were on the dance team.

Authorities investigating the derailment said the two were sitting on one side of a train bridge when a train derailed, burying the girls in coal the train was carrying.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Harry Witzke's Family Funeral Home.
