World War II veterans fly in restored B-17 Flying Fortress - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

It was a chance to relive a bit of history on Sunday as dozens of folks got a chance to ride on board a World War II era bomber.

The fully restored B-17 Flying Fortress was on display at Leesburg Executive Airport.

Some World War II vets turned out at the event and talked about their war experiences.
