Ride On transit bus crashes into Silver Spring home

SILVER SPRING, Md. -

A Montgomery County Ride On transit bus crashed into a house in Silver Spring Monday.

The accident happened around 11:00 a.m. on the 9400 block of Avenel Road.

Police say at least a dozen people were on the bus at the time of the accident. None were seriously injured. No one inside of the home was injured.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
