Sahvon Davis was a young mother with a bright future. She had model good looks and loved to style hair. Her life ended. Her hopes and dreams stolen in a moment of violence. Watch Ronnie Dahl's full video report above.
The events that led up to Shavon's murder started near an abandoned house on the corner of Eaton and Stoepel in Detroit. It was Wednesday when an argument broke out during a game of craps. Neighbors tell Fox 2 at least two guys returned to the area that night with guns.
They shot Shavon's 19 year old cousin Derrick Davis, and 28 year old Arrow Jackson. Then they drove the few blocks to Shavon's parents house on Prairie Street and opened fire. Bullets spraying the house and the car Shavon was riding in with her son. She was dropping him off to rush to the hospital after learning about her cousin.
So far no arrests have been made. Anyone with information should call the Detroit Police's Homicide Division at 313-596-2260.
