Overturned vehicle snarls traffic on Downtown Connector

ATLANTA -

An overturned vehicle on the Downtown Connector southbound just before Langford Parkway tied up traffic during Friday's rush hour.

SkyFOX 5 showed an SUV on top of another vehicle.

The accident scene was cleared up by 6 p.m., but traffic remained backed up for a couple of hours.

At least one person was extricated from a vehicle and transported to the hospital. That person's condition was not immediately known.

One lane of I-75/85 northbound just north of Highway 166 was blocked as well.
