Planes bump on Dulles Airport taxiway

CHANTILLY, Va. -

Two planes bumped on the taxiway at Dulles International Airport Friday afternoon around 3:20.

A spokeswoman for Dulles tells FOX 5 a jet wing clipped the tail section of another plane on the taxiway for the "A" gate. She says there was no impact to airport operations.

Kimberly Gibbs, Spokesperson For Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says there are no injuries and it is a "non-incident." The planes have been cleared from the taxiway.

The planes were a Lufthansa A330 departing for Frankfurt and a United Express commuter aircraft arriving from Pittsburgh.  Gibbs estimated the planes were probably traveling only a few miles an hour when they made contact.

Video from Skyfox clearly shows damage to the tail of the United plane.
