Tornado Watch for DC Region until 10pm. Be prepared. Tornadoes can form from severe thunderstorms with little or no advanced warning. Know your safe room in your home, at school, and at work. Do not use highway overpasses as shelters. Remain alert for the issuance of warnings.

ACCUWEATHER - The heavy snow invading the Northeast Monday will graze the Interstate 95 corridor from Washington, D.C., to New York City to Boston, but eventually rain will win out over the snow.

Thunderstorms and showers are moving into the area Friday.
Rain will be at heavy at times in the morning followed by a little break this afternoon.
Storms will again redevelop later this afternoon and into the evening.
It will not rain all day, however, Friday will be rather gloomy and gray.
Highs are expected to be in the 80s with mostly cloudy skies.
Be ready for the possibility of heavy downpours at times and take precautions if you are driving.
Less humidity and cooler temperatures are in store for the weekend.
